Sağlık Bilişim Sistemleri Kapsamında Hemşirelik Bilişiminin Kullanımı

Abstract

Hemşirelik bilişimi, Sağlık Bilişim Sistemleri kapsamında yer almaktadır. Amerikan Hemşireler Birliği’nin tanımına göre hemşirelik bilişimi; hemşirelik bakımını sağlamak ve uygulamaları desteklemek için hemşirelikle ilgili verilerin, bilgilerin ve enformasyonunun işlenmesinde ve yönetilmesinde bilgisayar, bilgi ve hemşirelik biliminin kullanıldığı uzmanlık dalıdır. Hemşirelik bilişim sistemleri; klinik uygulamalar, yönetim hizmetleri ve eğitim alanında kullanılmaktadır. Hemşirelik bilişim sistemleri ile hasta değerlendirilmesi ve izlemi, bakım planlarının hazırlanması ve değerlendirilmesi, bütçe hazırlanması, personel kontrolü ve denetimi, eğitim programlarının hazırlanması, uygulanması ve değerlendirilmesi sağlanabilmektedir. Bu derlemenin amacı; hemşirelik bilişiminin birey, hasta, toplum, sağlık çalışanları, sağlık sistemi açısından yararlarını, hemşirelik bilişim sistemleri uygulamalarını ve araştırmalarını tartışmaktır.

Use of Nursing Informatics within the Scope of Health Information Systems

Abstract

Nursing informatics are within the scope of health ınformation systems. The American Nurses Association defi nes nursing informatics as “a specialty that integrates nursing science, computer science, and information science to manage and processes data, information, and knowledge in nursing practice. Nursing informatics systems are being used clinical practice, management sevices and education areas. Nursing informatics systems provide assessment and monitoring of the patient, preparation and evaluation of care plans, budgeting, control and supervision of the staff, preparation, implementation and evaluation of training programs. The purpose of this article was to determine the benefi ts in terms of patients, communities, health professionals and health care system, and make a discussion of the research and the applications of nursing informatics systems.
