Abstract

Prostat kanseri, erkeklerde en sık görülen kanser türleri arasında yer almaktadır. Farklı tedavi yöntemlerine sahip prostat kanserinin en yeni cerrahi tedavi seçeneği, robot yardımlı laparoskopik radikal prostatektomidir. Robotik teknolojinin kullanımındaki hızlı artış, hastaların gereksindiği hemşirelik bakımını etkilemektedir. Bu teknolojinin sürekli gelişen doğası nedeniyle, aşılması güç ve heyecan verici rollere sahip olan hemşireler, kendilerini sürekli geliştirmelidir. Robot yardımlı laparoskopik radikal prostatektomi ve hemşirelik girişimlerine yer verilen makalenin, bu alanda çalışan meslektaşlarımıza yol gösterici olacağı düşünülmektedir.
