Franchising İşletmelerde Performans Değerlendirme: İstanbul’da Faaliyet Gösteren Fast-Food Franchising İşletmeleri Üzerine Bir Araştırma
Abstract
Bu araştirmanin amaci, hizmet sektöründe yer alan fast-food franchisee işletmelerin performans değerlendirme sürecinde göz önünde bulundurduklari faktörleri belirlemektir. Bu kapsamda araştirmada nitel araştirma yöntemi kullanilmiştir. Araştirmanin evreni İstanbul’da faaliyet gösteren fast-food franchisee işletmelerdir. Bu araştirmada, İstanbul’da faaliyet gösteren alti fast-food franchisee analiz birimi olarak belirlenmiştir. Verilerin elde edilmesi için görüşme formu oluşturulmuştur. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştirmanin verileri, analiz birimi olarak belirlenen işletmelerin üst düzey yöneticileriyle yapilan görüşme sonucunda elde edilmiştir. Araştirmanin sonucunda, üst düzey yöneticilerin performans değerlendirme boyutlarindan finansal, müşteri, çalişan ve örgütsel boyutlari önemsedikleri ve kullandiklari belirlenmiştir. Verilerin sadece alti işletmeden elde edilmiş olmasi ve araştirmanin tek bir ilde yapilmiş olmasi bu araştirmanin sinirliliğini oluşturmaktadir
Performance Evaluation in Franchising Enterprises: A Research on Fast-Food Franchisee Enterprises Located in Istanbul
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine the factors that fast-food businesses in service sector take into consideration in the process of performance evaluation. In this context, qualitative research method has been used. The population of the research is the fast-food franchisee enterprises which are operating their activities in Istanbul. In this research, ten fast-food franchisee enterprises which are operating their activities in Istanbul has been determined as the unit of analysis. Interview form has been generated to obtain the data. The obtained data has been analyzed by using content analyze. The research date has been obtained from senior managers of the enterprises that are in the analyze unit of the research by using the interviews. At the end of the research it is determined that senior managers are heeding using the dimensions of financial, customer, employee and learning in their performance evaluations. The research is only a limitation that is conducting research only on six enterprises and in one city.
