Abstract

Sosyalleşme unsuru günümüzde olduğu gibi Osmanlı döneminde de büyük bir önem taşımaktadır. Dönemde gün geçtikçe fazlalaşan sosyalleşme ihtiyacı ile birlikte bu amaç neticesinde kurulmuş olan alanların karşılaştırıldığında gündelik hayatta önemli bir ihtiyaç haline gelen yıkanma ile gelen temizliğin dinimizin önerdiği hususlar doğrultusunda yapılması ve bu gereklilikler için evlerde yer olmamasından kaynaklı olarak dönemde hamamlar inşa edilmiştir. Yapılmış olan bu mekanlar sayesinde Osmanlı’da hamam kültürü gelişmeye başlamıştır. Hamamlar gelen ziyaretçiler sayesinde sosyalleşmede büyük ölçüde artmıştır. Bu tezin araştırmalara kattığı en büyük önemlerden birisi Osmanlı’da sosyalleşme konusunu inceleyip hamamların üzerinden sosyalleşmeyi okuyuculara aktarmasıdır.

Socializing Meetings In Ottoman Baths

Abstract

The element of socialization is of great importance in the Ottoman period as it is today. When the need for socialization increased day by day and the areas established for this purpose were compared, baths were built in the period due to the fact that the cleaning that comes with washing, which has become an important need in daily life, is done in line with the issues suggested by our religion and that there is no place in the houses for these requirements. Thanks to these places, the bath culture started to develop in the Ottoman Empire. Thanks to the visitors, the baths have greatly increased in socialization. One of the greatest importance that this thesis has added to research is that it examines the subject of socialization in the Ottoman Empire and conveys socialization to the readers through the baths.
