Major purpose of this study is to consider the relationships between Total Quality Management (TQM) and benchmarking. For that reason, first TQM is discussed and then benchmarking is examined in detail. At the end of the paper, their relations are studied. According to this study it can be said that in a company which identifies itself with Total Quality Management philosophy, benchmarking efforts will be more successful in less time.
