Kidney injuries are the most frequently seen injuries of the urinary system. Specifically
penetrating renal injuries are clinically very important since they can be life-threatening. Most of penetrating renal injuries are caused by gunshot. The anterior surface of each kidney is anatomically related to many vital organs. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to determine with imaging methods whether the kidneys and surrounding organs are injured or not. Admitted to the emergency department because of gunshot wounds (ASY) 43-year-old female patient isolated renal injury was determined. In thiscasepenetratethe bodyfrom the backof thefirearmbullets (ASMÇ), tohangaroundthe kidneyswithoutany otherwoundsin the abdomen andabdominalorgansis presentedas atreatmentoptionin rare casesdue to theconservative approach.

Böbrek yaralanmaları, üriner sistemin en sık görülen yaralanmalarıdır. Özellikle penetran böbrek yaralanmaları yaşamı tehdit eden klinik durumlar oluşturabilir. Böbreği etkileyen penetran yaralanmaların büyük bir kısmı ateşli silahlar ile gerçekleşmektedir. Her iki böbreğin ön yüzü, yaşamsal öneme sahip birçok organla anatomik komşuluğa sahiptir. Bu nedenle hem böbreğin hem de çevre organların görüntüleme yöntemleriyle zarar görüp görmediğinin belirlenmesi büyük önem taşımaktadır.Acil servise ateşli silah yaralanması (ASY) nedeniyle başvuran 43 yaşındaki kadın hastada izole böbrek yaralanması tespit edilmiştir. Bu vaka ateşli silah mermi çekirdeği (ASMÇ)’nin vücuda sırttan nüfuz edip, batında diğer hiçbir intraabdominal organı yaralamadan böbrek çevresinde asılı kalması ve tedavide konservatif yaklaşım tercih edilmesi nedeniyle nadir bir olgu olarak sunulmuştur.
