Abstract

In this study, it has been given a geometric model description of the annular type tracheal elements of chard (Beta vulgaris var. cicla L.) Numerical comparisons have been also made by taking measurements from different parts of the leaf. It has been have shown that the tracheal elements which are taxonomical value of the plant can be considered as a surface of revolution or a tubular shape along a special curve.
