A Research on the Effects of Agricultural Income and Farming System of Agricultural and Social Structure of the Farms in the Two Regions Having Different Development Level (A Case Study: Kazova and Artova Regions of Tokat Province)

Abstract

In this study , the effects of agricultural income and farming system of the social and agricultural structure were investigated in Kazova and Artova regions having different development level in Tokat Province and interregional comparisons was made. Data obtained by using survey method were used from 76 farms in Kazova region and 61 farms in Artova region. Khi-square analysis, performance analysis and functional analysis were used to determine the effects and production system of social and agricultural structure. Significant differences in terms of agricultural income, production system and production pattern between research areas were determined. Besides, although agricultural farms in the two region have almost same characteristics in social structure, agricultural income founding for the two region was diffèrent from each other at high level. It is determined that characteristics regarding social structure have no significant effect on the agricultural income and production systems. On the contrary, it is determined that land and livestock assets and the ratio of land produced fruit and vegetable, and operating expenses in Kazova region and livestock asset, family labor used in the farm and operating capital in Aitova region have meaningful effects on the agricultural income.

Gelişmişlik Açısından Farklı İki Yöredeki Tarım İşletmelerinin Toplumsal ve Tarımsal Yapısının Üretim Sistemleri ve Tarımsal Gelire Etkileri Üzerine Bir Araştırma (Tokat İli Kazova ve Artova Bölgesi Örneği)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada gelişmişlik açısından farklı iki yöre olan Tokat ili Kazova ve Artova bölgelerindeki tarım işletmelerinde toplumsal ve tarımsal yapının üretim sistemleri ve tarımsal gelire etkileri incelenmiş ve bölgeler arasında karşılaştırmalar yapılmıştır. Kazova bölgesinde 76 adet; Artova bölgesinde 61 adet tarım işletmesinden anket yöntemi ile elde edilen veriler kullanılmıştır. Toplumsal yapı ve tarımsal yapının üretim sistemlerine ve gelire etkilerinin belirlenmesinde; fonksiyonel analizler, başarı analizleri, khi-kare analizleri yapılmıştır. İki bölge arasında toplumsal yapı özelliklerinin benzer olmasına karşın üretim deseni, üretim sistemleri ve tarımsal gelir açısından önemli farklılıklar olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucu toplumsal yapıya ilişkin özelliklerin üretim sistemleri ve tarımsal gelir üzerinde önemli bir etkisinin olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Buna karşılık Kazova bölgesinde arazi varlığı, hayvan varlığı, meyve ve sebze yetiştirilen arazinin oranı ile işletme masrafları; Artova bölgesinde ise hayvan varlığı, işletmede kullanılan aile işgücü ve işletme sermayesi gibi tarımsal yapıya ilişkin faktörlerin özellikle tarımsal gelir üzerinde önemli etkilere sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir.
