Abstract

This study examined the interdependeny between Turkish agricultural and industrial Sector, A dual economic model was developed to investigate the relationship between two sector and factors affecting Turkish economic development. The study reveals that traditional inputs, such as labour, are still important for the ecomomic development. Capita! investment contributed to the growth of the Turkish industrial sector, but not to agricultural sector. The results also suggest that export has made contribution to Turkish Economic growth, It was found that the growth of the Turkish agricultural sector depends on its industrial growth, but the growth of the Turkish industrial sector does not rely on the agricultural growth.

Türkiye’nin Ekonomik Gelişim Sürecinde Tarım Sanayi İlişkilerine Dual Bir Yaklaşım

Abstract

Bu çalışmada tarım ve sanayi sektörleri arasındaki ilişkilerde bağımlılık araştırılmıştır. Dual ekonomik bir modelle Türkiye’nin ekonomik gelişmesini etkileyen faktörler tarım- sanayi ilişkileriyle incelenmiştir. Çalışmada görülmüştür ki, gelenekse! inputlardan, işgücü özellikle sanayinin gelişmesinde önemini koruyan bir faktördür. Sabit sermaye yatırımları sanayi sektörünün büyümesine katkı sağlamaktadır, fakat tarım sektörüne değil. Sonuçlar ilıracat faktörünün Türk ekonomisinde, sanayinin gelişmesine katkı sağladığını da göstermiştir. Tarım sektörünün büyümesi sanayi sektörünün büyümesine bagh bulunmuştur fakat, sanayi sektörünün büyümesinde tarım sektörünün katkısı bulunamamıştır.
