Abstract
This study covers applying of Orköy credits at Tokat province in 1980-1991 period. The \ study can break down two sections. In the firs section, the general knowledges has been gi¬ven about Orköy (Village of Foresty) of Turkey. In the second section, it has been investi¬gated that villages of foresty benefit from Orköy credits İn Tokat. Fortermore, it has been study to put out socioeconomic efect of apllying on Orköy.

Abstract
Çalışma, 1980-1991 döneminde Tokat Merkez İlçesinde Orköy kredilerinin uygulanma¬sı durumunu kapsamaktadır. îki bölümden oluşan bu çalışmada, birinci bölümde Türkiye orman köyleri hakkında genel bilgiler verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise, Tokat Merkez İlçe¬sinde Ormanköy kapsamına giren köylerin Orköy kredilerinden yararlanma durumları ana¬liz edilmiştir. Ayrıca uygulamanın orman köyleri üzerine yaptığı sosyo-ekonomik etkinliği¬nin ortaya konulmasına çalışılmıştır.
