The Editorial Board of Journal of Gundem Tourism adopts the following rules regarding similarity checks:

• Articles with an overall similarity index exceeding 20% (excluding references) are returned to the author without entering the peer review process. In such cases, authors may revise and resubmit their manuscript within 2 weeks.
• Similarity from any single source should be less than 3%.
• Editors may conduct similarity checks during or after the peer review process.

Furthermore, regardless of the overall similarity index, any text or block of text taken from a source without proper citation will result in immediate rejection of the article before evaluation and return to the author. All authors submitting articles agree to abide by the above rules.
