Aim & Scope

Haliç University Journal of Science started to get published twice a year in September 2018. Submitted articles are reviewed and evaluated by the referees, and accepted articles are published online on the journal's website.

In this journal, original and review articles based on research in the fields of natural sciences, engineering, and architecture are published in Turkish or English.

Publication Frequency

Haliç University Journal of Science is published twice a year, in March and September.

Evaluation Process

1. The articles to be submitted must contain original research results that will fill a gap in the field.
2. The Editorial Board first evaluates the articles submitted to the journal in terms of publication principles, scope of the journal, scientific content, and form. Articles that pass the preliminary review are sent to at least two referees for assessment. The article must receive a positive evaluation from both referees to be published in the journal. When necessary, a third referee may be asked to contribute to the evaluation process. The final decision belongs to the editor.
3. It is confirmed through the iThenticate program that the articles submitted for publication have not been published before and do not contain plagiarism. After the similarity report is checked by the journal editors, articles with a result of 20% or less excluding references are sent to the referees for evaluation. For the articles with a result above 20% excluding references, corrections are requested from the author. If the necessary corrections are not made within 30 days, the article is rejected.
4. No fee is charged to the authors for the evaluation and publication process.
5. All responsibility for the articles belongs to the respective authors. Articles must be prepared in accordance with internationally recognized scientific ethical rules. If necessary, a copy of the Ethics Committee Report should be attached.

The Editor, Associate Editors, members of the Editorial and Advisory Board, and the Publisher do not accept any responsibility for any errors in the journal or any consequences arising from the use of the information. Permission for Publication

Except for individual use, articles, figures, and tables published in Haliç University Journal of Science cannot be reproduced, archived in a system, or used in advertising or promotional materials without written permission. In scientific articles, citations can be made with appropriate references.
