MEASUREMENT OF DAİLY STAFFİNG İN AN OPERATİNG ROOM

Abstract

Purpose: This research was carried out with the purpose of determining daily scrub and circuler nurse stafŞ ng for performed operations in a private hospital.Material and Method: The study is planned to be cross- sectional based on time measurement, carried out in an operating room with nine surgical tables between in April- September 2003. Operations were categorized in Ş ve groups according to operations’ time and wheather the operations was complicated or not. For each operation type carried out interventions were determined at pre and post operative term and spent time for these interventions were measured via chronometer. Based on these results, apropriate nursing staff size for daily number and type of operations were determined. Findings and Results: According to the results the duration were 2 hours and 53 minute and operation number each day were average 16,4. Based on these results 23 nurses were needed for each day and 29 nurses were needed for the total routine stafŞ ng. These study results are limited with this hospital, therefore could not be used for other institıtions

İR AMELİYATHANEDE GÜNLÜK ÇALIȘMASI GEREKEN HEMȘİRE SAYISININ BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract

Amaç: Bu araștırma özel bir hastanede yapılan ameliyatlara göre günlük çalıșması gereken skrub ve sirküle hemșire sayısının belirlenmesi amacıyla planlanmıștır.Gereç-Yöntem: Araștırma 9 masalı bir ameliyathanede Nisan-Eylül 2003 tarihleri arasında zaman etüdüne dayalı ve kesitsel olarak gerçekleștirilmiștir. Yapılan ameliyatların süreleri ve kompleks olup olmamaları dikkate alınarak ameliyatlar 5 tipe ayrılmıștır. Her ameliyat tipi için ameliyat öncesi ve sonrası yapılan ișlemlerin neler olduğu ve bu ișlemlere ortalama ayrılan süre, kronometre tutularak ölçülmüștür. Ardından günlük ameliyat sayısına ve tipine göre gerekli olan hemșire sayısı belirlenmiștir.Bulgular ve Tartıșma: Araștırma sonuçlarına göre bir ameliyatın 2 saat 53 dakika sürdüğü; günde ortalama 16,4 ameliyatın yapıldığı ve buna göre günde 23 hemșirenin, serviste ise toplam 29 hemșirenin bulunması gerektiği belirlenmiștir. Bu çalıșma sonuçları sadece çalıșmanın yapıldığı ameliyathane ile sınırlı olduğundan bașka kurumlarda kullanılması uygun değildir
