Amaç: Bu çalışma sağlık ocaklarında çalışan hemşire ve ebelerin kadına yönelik şiddet konusunda bilgi ve tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.Yöntem: Araştırmanın örneğini İç Anadolu Bölgesi’nde bir ilin üç merkez ilçesinde bulunan 40 merkez sağlık ocağında çalışan 410 ebe ve hemşire oluşturmuştur. Hemşire ve ebeleri tanıtıcı özelliklerini içeren 26 soruluk anketformu kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca, verilerin toplanmasında “Hemşire ve EbelerinKadına Yönelik Şiddet Belirtilerini Tanımalarına İlişkin Ölçek” ve “Eş Dövmeye İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde ortanca, yüzdelik dağılım, Kruskall-Wallis, Mann-Whitney U, Bonferroni Düzeltmeli Mann-Whitney U testi ve Spearman Korelasyon analizleri kullanılmıştır.Bulgular: Araştırma bulguları değerlendirildiğinde, hemşire ve ebelerin çokazının mezuniyet öncesi ve sonrasında kadına yönelik şiddet konusunda bilgi aldığını ve birinci basamakta çalışma süresi, geçmişte şiddete uğrama öyküsü ve sıklığının kadına yönelik şiddet belirtilerini tanıma durumundaönemli faktörler olduğunu göstermiştir p
