Obstetride Müzik Temelli Uygulamaların Kullanımı

Abstract

Bireylerin fiziksel, zihinsel ve sosyal yönden gereksinimlerini karşılayan müzik, sağlık profesyonelleri tarafından güvenli ve kolay şekilde uygulanabilen non-farmakolojik bir yöntemdir. Prenatal dönemden başlayarak doğum sonrası dönem içerisinde kullanılan müzik uygulamalarının etkinliğini değerlendirmek için yapılan çalışmalar incelendiğinde; müziğin infertil kadınlar, gebeler, yenidoğanlar ve babalar üzerinde uygulandığı görülmektedir. Müzik temelli uygulamalar tıbbi tedavi ve bakım sırasında yaşanan stres, kaygı, ağrı ve depresyon seviyelerinin azalmasına katkı sağlarken; maternal/paternal bağlanma, yaşam kalitesi ve emzirme üzerinde olumlu yönde etkileri olduğu saptanmıştır. Bu geleneksel derleme çalışmasında, müzik temelli uygulamaların pre-perinatal dönemde kullanım alanlarından örnekler sunulmuş olup, kadın-çocuk sağlığı açısından yararları, ebelik ve hemşirelik bakımına etkileri ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışma sonucunda, sağlık profesyonelleri olan ebe ve hemşirelerin, müzik uygulamalarını non-farmakolojik olarak sağlık bakım uygulamalarına dâhil edilerek kullanımının yaygınlaştırılması önerilebilir.
