About

Hitit Theology Journal was founded in 2002 with its initial title, Gazi University The Journal of Corum Divinity Faculty (ISSN 1303-7757). In 2006, it changed its name to the Journal of Divinity Faculty of Hitit University (ISSN 2651-3978 | e-ISSN 2636-8110). And now, beginning on January 13, 2021, it will continue under its new title, i.e., Hitit Theology Journal (ISSN 2757-6957 | e-ISSN 2757-6949).

Our journal, indexed so far in ESCI (2015), SCOPUS (2022), TRDİZİN (2009), EBSCO Academic Search Ultimate (2002), Index Islamicus (2002), and Index Copernicus (2019), is now under review by AHCI.

Hitit Theology Journal aims not only to ensure new perspectives to the authors and disciplines by reviewing research (articles, translation, and book reviews) produced in Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, and Religion but also to provide quality to this research mentioned above.

Hitit Theology Journal publishes comparative and interdisciplinary research in Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, and Religion.

Within this framework, a six-stage process is being carried out for publication; distinctive criteria for review are thus specified for each stage: Review by the Editorial Board; Check for Spelling, Grammar, and Plagiarism; Peer Review; Check for Language; Copy Editing; Final Reading.
