Neospora caninum is a parasitic protozoan that causes loss of abortion, stillbirth and premature breeding in
goats as in the case of cattle and adversely affects goat breeding. The aims of this study was to determine
the prevalence of anti-N. caninum antibodies in hair goats in Osmaniye province. For this purpose, 154
blood samples were collected from hair goats in 3 counties of Osmaniye. Obtained sera were examined
with c-ELISA test. At the end of the study, anti-N. caninum antibodies were detected in 3 out of 154
animals (1.9%) and this result was found to be below the average of Turkey and the world.
