The goal of the Izmir Democracy University Journal of Social Sciences is to fill gaps in the fields of social sciences around the world and in Turkey, and to contribute to the literature through scientific research, reviews, analyses, evaluations, and articles for problem-solving in the fields of social sciences. Academic papers in this area are released according to the journal's publication guidelines.

The Journal of Social Sciences at Izmir Democracy University seeks to share original, national, and foreign research in the field of Social Sciences with the scholarly community and the general public, as well as provide efficient and original answers to issues in connecting areas. While the journal's scope is defined as Economics, Business Administration, Political Science and Public Administration, Management Information Systems, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, International Relations, Finance, and Human Resources Management, other disciplines related to Sociology and Educational Sciences are welcome.
