Sıdıka Başçı after receiving her Ph.D in economics from Bilkent University, Ankara, Türkiye in June 1998, started teaching at universities in Türkiye, and UK. Her research areas are econometrics, data analytics and machine learning. She founded and managed a consultant firm where economic and financial reports were prepared during 1999 - 2005. In 2005 she founded Econometric Research Association (ERA) which publishes the semi-annual international journal named “International Econometric Review-Economics of the 21st Century (IER)”. It is an EconLit indexed journal. She is also among the editors of IER. During 2006 - 2011, she worked at Statistical Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), a subsidiary organ of the Organization of the Islamic Countries (OIC) as the Director of the Statistics and Information Department and Acting Director. During 2011 – 2013 she worked at Strategic Thinking Institute as the Coordinator of the Economic Program. In 2013 she started teaching at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBU) as assistant professor. In 2018, she got the associate professor position. During 2017 – July 2020 she had an on leave position from AYBU and had an Invited Visiting Professor position at CY Tech, Paris, France. In July 2020, she returned to AYBU. She has many articles published in journals and book chapters.

1978 yılında iktisat doktorasını tamamlayan Zaman, ABD’de Pennsylvania Devlet Üniversitesi, California Teknoloji Enstitüsü, Columbia Üniversitesi ve Johns Hopkins Üniversitesi gibi saygın üniversitelerde ders vermiş olup, 2003-2009 yılları arasında Bilkent Üniversitesinde akademik hayatına devam etmiştir. Hâlihazırda Uluslararası İslam Üniversitesinde (İslamabad) Uluslararası İslam Ekonomisi Enstitüsünün başkanıdır.

Mustafa ÖZER is an economist and teaches at the Anadolu University, Eskişehir, Turkey. Mustafa Özer’s areas of research are applied econometrics (especially in the fields of tourism economics, financial markets, Turkish Economy and open macro economy), financial crises, business cycles, as well as civil society and publishes articles in international journals especially subjects of financial market interactions, current account deficit and its effect on macro economy and foreign trade, growth and tourism. He teaches the Ph.D. econometrics courses at Social Sciences Institute of Anadolu University and Belgrade Banking Academy in Serbia. Özer led the both national and international projects regarding the role of civil society in Turkey, especially measuring the value added and employment contributions of civil society. Özer is also member of the scientific committee of international conferences such as MIBES, ICOBAS, ASECU, IJOPEC, EconAnadolu, Europe and Asia: Economic Integration Prospects and EUREFE. He serves as an editor in International Econometric Review. He is also editorial board member of the international scientific journals such as Equilibrium. Quarterly Journal of Economics and Economic Policy, Journal of Risk Management, and, Journal of Central Banking Theory and Practice and some journals in Turkey and contributes Finance research letter, International Review of Financial Analysis, International Review of Economics and Finance, Singapore Economic Review, Financial Innovation, Humanities and Social Sciences Communications, Journal of the Knowledge Economy, SN Business & Economics (SNBE),  and International Journal of Emerging Markets as a reviewer and Sage Open as an article editor and reviewer. Prof. Dr. Kıvılcım Metin Özcan Lisans derecesini T.O.D.A.İ.E bağlı Sevk ve İdare Yüksek okulundan 1979 yılında aldı. Akademik hayata 1981 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi'nde İktisat bölümünde araştırma görevlisi olarak başladı. Master derecesini 1984 yılında Ortadoğu Teknik Üniversitesi İktisat bölümünden ve Doktora derecesini 1992 yılında Ingiltere`de Oxford Üniversitesi`nden İktisat dalında  almıştır. Aynı yıl Bilkent Üniversitesi İktisat bölümünde yardımcı doçent olarak çalışmaya başlamış ve 1995 yılında doçent olmuştur. Bilkent Üniversitesi İktisat bölümünde 20 yıl çalıştıktan sonra  2012 yılında Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi`ne profesör kadrosu ile  geçmiştir. 2017 yılı Eylül ayına kadar Konya Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi`nde Sosyal ve Beşeri Bilimler Fakültesi İktisat Bölümü`nde İktisat Teorisi Anabilim dalı başkanı olarak çalışmıştır. 2017 yılı Eylül ayında Ankara Sosyal Bilimler Üniversitesi Siyasal Bilgiler Fakültesi'ndeki görevine başlamıştır. Endeksli dergilerde ve kitap bölümlerinde çok sayıda eseri bulunmakta, bir çok derginin akademik kurullarında yer almakta ve iktisadi kuruluşlarda üyelikleri bulunmaktadır.

With an experience of more than fifteen years, Saud has proficiency in all types of data handling and analysis including Big Data (Huge, Fat and Large). He has expertise in Macro-Econometric Modeling, Micro-econometric Modeling, a-theoretical simulation techniques and Forecasting. As a Data Analyst, he worked in UNICEF funded project “Sustainability Check on WASH Services (Rural Open Defecation Free and Rural Drinking Water Supply Schemes - RWSS) in Sindh & Punjab” in collaboration with National University of Science and Technology (NUST) and ANN associates. He worked as Lead Econometrician in Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) funded project “Economic Management Modeling in ECO Member Countries”. As a team lead he evaluated the methodological aspects of Global Innovation Index (GII) and highlight the reasons behind poor performance of PAKISTAN in GII 2016. He is trained at National School of Public Policy, Lahore on a course “Ambassador Of Evidence: Training of Trainers”. He attended workshop on Price Statistics at “Training Wing, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, Islamabad”. He remained Member of National Curriculum Revision Committee (NCRC) of Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan. He is member of ‘Energy Division’ at Pakistan Institute of Development Economics. Currently he has been working on several Demand Driven Research (DDR) studies requested from Finance Division Government of Pakistan, Chief Economist Pakistan and Pay & Pension Commission of Pakistan.

Prof. Dr. Nilgün Çağlarırmak Uslu is a faculty member in the Department of Economics Theory at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Anadolu University. She completed her undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral studies at Anadolu University. Her academic work focuses on financial economics, money and banking, macroeconomics, financial dollarization, the monetary transmission mechanism, youth unemployment, education-employment mismatch, and AI-supported skill matching.

Prof. Dr. Uslu has published numerous articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals, presented papers at scientific conferences, and served as editor of academic books. In recent years, her research has particularly concentrated on education-employment mismatch, sustainable growth, financial vulnerabilities, and AI-based labor market analysis. She continues to contribute to the international academic literature in this field through her publication titled “Bridging the Education–Employment Gap in Europe: An AI-Driven Approach to Skill Matching.”

Having served as both coordinator and researcher in European Union and national research projects, Prof. Dr. Uslu has extensive project experience particularly in the areas of education-employment relations, youth unemployment, and digital and innovative learning systems. She acted as coordinator in the EMLT and EMLT+AI projects and has also served as an independent external expert within the Erasmus Programme. She actively contributes to academic advising and postgraduate thesis supervision.
