Abstract
Bir peygamberin peygamberliğini ispat, ancak hiç şüphe taşımayan kesin bir delille mümkün olabilir. Bu kesin delil de, ya onun gösterdiği mucizeyi duyu organıyla bizzat görmek ya da kesin bilgi ifade eden mütevatir bir haberle o mucizeden haberdar olmakla olur. Mutezileye göre, bir peygamberin nübüvvetinin ispatı için mucize temel şart değildir. Onlara göre teblîğin ulaşıp ulaşmamış olması esastır. Eğer bir kimseye peygamberin teblîği ulaşmışsa, bu onun için yeterlidir. Bir peygamber sadece teblîğde bulunur. Mutlaka bir mucize göstermek zorunda değildir. Fahruddîn er-Râzî, Peygamber olarak gönderilen bir şahsın, kendi nübüvvetini insanlara ispat etmek için mutlaka bir mucize ortaya koyması gerektiğini belirterek, bu konu üzerinde önemle durmaktadır. Çünkü iddia ettiği dava, tabiatı gereği çok büyük ve muazzam bir davadır. Allah tarafından insanlara elçi olarak gönderilmiş olduğunu iddia etmek kadar büyük bir dava olamaz. İşte böylesine büyük bir dava ile ortaya çıkan bir kimsenin, bu davanın şanına yakışır bir biçimde hiçbir beşerin benzerini yapamayacağı bir mucize ortaya koyması lazımdır ki, bu mucize ile hem davasını ispat etmeli hem de insanların kalplerindeki şüphelerin izale olmasına yardım etmelidir.

Abstract
The proof of prophethood of a prophet can only be possible with an undoubtedly and absolute evidence. This absolute evidence either can be possible with seeing his miracles with sense organs or it is possible through be informed about his miracles with a sound news. According to Mutaizlis, performing a miracle is not main condition of prophethood of a prophet. If there are someone who has received the message of the prophet, this is enough for him (to be responsible). Therefore, according to Mutaizlis, receiving the notice/message of religion is more important. A prophet can only invite, he does not have to performing miracle(s). Fakhruddin er-Razi puts emphasis on this issue and he claims that someone who is sent as a prophet must performing a miracle to prove his prophethood to people because of nature of his assertion which is a great claim. There is no greater claim than that claiming he was sent by God to people as a messenger. Someone emerged with such a great claim must perform a miracle which is cannot be done by a human being because he must prove his message and help to remove doubts from mind of people.
