The historical roots of Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan and the war of aggression make it necessary to consider certain issues in Armenian history. This policy of aggression has always been at the center of Armenian history. For this reason, the Armenians used every means to realize their intentions against the Azerbaijanis, to the extent that the historical and local conditions allowed. One of the unexplored pages of the modern history of Azerbaijan is the genocide committed in the villages and regions where Azerbaijanis live as a result of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict that flared up again at the end of the 20th century. Nagorno-Karabakh conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan entered the history of the twentieth century as one of the most tragic conflicts, the results of which seriously affected the fate of millions of Azerbaijanis. This conflict, which started in the late 1980s with open territorial claims and acts of intimidation by Armenia against the historical lands of Azerbaijan and ethnic provocations, resulted in a military attack on Azerbaijan. Although the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, due to the unresolved Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, remains a source of danger in the South Caucasus, it is one of the least relevant to the international community. Even after giving autonomy to Nagorno-Karabakh, which is an inseparable part of Azerbaijan, neither Nagorno-Karabakh nor Armenia nor the Armenians outside these borders stopped their separatist activities. This study deals with the disasters perpetrated by Armenians against Muslims in Nagorno-Karabakh between 1988 and 1993. In the study, the situation of Nagorno-Karabakh before the disaster and the occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh by the Armenians were discussed.
