BİLGİSAYARLI TOMOGRAFİ EŞLİĞİNDE TRANSTORASİK İNCE İĞNE ASPİRASYON BİOPSİSİ SONUÇLARIMIZ

Abstract

Transtorasik ince iğne aspirasyon biyopsisi (TTİİAB) akciğer hastalıklarının tanısında sıklıkla kullanılan , komplikasyon oranı düşük , basit ve etkin bir tanı yöntemidir. Bu çalışmada; İzmir Göğüs Hastalıkları ve Cerrahisi Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesindeki kliniğimizde 1995-2000 yılları arasında bilgisayarlı tomografi (BT) eşliğinde TTİİAB, 96 erkek olguya ( yaş ortalaması 60,93±11,74 yıl) uygulandı. Lezyon 92 olguda akciğerde ,4 olguda mediastinumda lokalize idi. TTİİAB 22 gauge Chiba iğnesi ile yapıldı. 81 olguya malign akciğer karsinomu, 1 olguya lenfoma , 1 olguya spindell sarkom metastazı, 3 olguya benign, 2 olguya kist hidatik, 1 olguya abse tanısı konuldu, kalan 7 olgu nondiagnostikdi. 18 olguda lezyon periferik yerleşimli, plevra ile ilişkili idi ve bu olgularda pnömotoraks izlenmedi. 13 olguda pnömotoraks izlendi. 10 olguya kapalı sualtı direnajı uygulandı.

RESULTS OF COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY GUİDED TRANSTHORACİC FİNE NEEDLE ASPİRATİON BİOPSİES

Abstract

Transthoracic fine needle aspiration biopsy (TFNA) is a frequently performed , simple and efficient method with low complication ratio. İn this study, CT guided TFNAB was performed to 96 male patients (mean age 60.93 ± 11.74 years) in İzmir Training and Research Thoracic medicine and Surgery Hospital. The lesion was localized in the lung in 92 cases and in the mediastinum in 4 cases. TFNA was performed with 22 gauge Chiba needles. Primary lung carsinoma was diagnosed in 81 cases, metastase of lenfoma in 1 case, metastase of spindell sarcom in 1 case, benign in 3 cases, cyst hidatic in 2 cases, non-diagnostic in 7 cases. In 18 cases the lesions were localized in the peripheral of the lung related with pleura. In these cases we determined no pneumothorax. Pneumothorax was seen in 13 cases. In 10 cases closed water drainage was performed.
