Abstract

Malign fibröz histiyositoma, yumuşak dokudan köken alan, primitif sarkomdur. Primer mediasten yerleşimi oldukça nadirdir. 23 yaşında erkek olguya mediastinal kitle öntanısıyla mediastinal kitle ekstirpasyonu uygulandı. Patolojik tanısı miksoid tipte malign fibröz histiyositoma olarak geldi. Primer mediastinal yerleşimli malign fibröz histiyositoma olarak değerlendirilen olgu, ender görülmesi nedeniyle literatür eşliğinde sunuldu.

PRIMARY MALIGNANT FIBROUS HISTIOCYTOMA OF THE MEDIASTINUM: CASE REPORT

Abstract

Malign fi brous histiocytoma is a primitive sarcoma originating in the deep soft tissues. Primary mediastinal location is very rare. Mediastinal mass extirpation was performed to 23 years old male with the mediastinal mass prediagnosis. Histopathologic examination revealed the diagnosis of miyxoid type malign fibrous histiocytoma. Because primary mediastinal malign fibrous histiocytoma is very rare, this case was presented with related literature.
