Abstract
Mediasten tümörlerinin büyük bölümü benign olsa da ön kompartmandaki kitlelerin malign olma olasılığı daha fazladır. Kırkdokuz yaşında erkek hasta göğüs ağrısı yakınmasıyla başvurdu. Toraks bilgisayarlı tomografisinde ön mediasteni dolduran, içinde nekroz alanları ve kalsifikasyon içeren kitle lezyonu izlendi. Tanı ve tedavi amaçlı torakotomide çevre dokulara invazyonu nedeniyle unrezektabl immatür teratom teşhis edildi. Dört yıllık takip sonrasında kitle lezyonunun regrese olduğu ve belirgin bir semptom olmadan sebat ettiği görüldü.

Abstract
Allthough major part of the mediastinal tumors are benign, masses those localized on anterior compartment have higher possibility to be malignant. A 49 yearsold man admitted to hospital with chest pain. A mass was detected in thorax computed tomography, that filling anterior mediastinum and containing necrotic fields and calcification. Unresectable immature teratoma was diagnosed with its invasion to surrounding tissues in thoracotomy that was performed for diagnosis and treatment. After a four year follow-up, it was seen that mass lesion showed a regression and was still present without any symptom.
