PANDEMİK H1N1 İNFLUENZA İNFEKSIYONLU HASTALARIN GENEL ÖZELLİKLERİ VE KLİNİK BULGULARI

Year 2010, Volume: 24 Issue: 3, 141 - 146, 01.12.2010

Abstract

Bu çalışmada; hastanemizde pandemik H1N1 influenza nedeniyle takip edilen hastaların klinik, radyolojik ve laboratuvar özelliklerinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Kasım 2009 ile Aralık 2009 tarihlerini kapsayan dönemde acil servis, göğüs hastalıkları ve infeksiyon hastalıkları polikliniklerine başvuran, Sağlık Bakanlığı kriterlerine göre pandemik H1N1 influenza şüphesi ile kliniğimize yatırılan ve farinks sürüntü örneklerinde real-time reverse transkriptaz, polimeraz zincir reaksiyonu yöntemiyle H1N1 pozitifliği saptanan hastalar çalışmaya alındı. Hastaların laboratuar ve klinik bilgileri SPSS 15 programına yüklendi ve istatistiksel analizleri yapıldı. Yapmış olduğumuz çalışmaya 8'i erkek (%53.3), 7'si kadın (%46.7) toplam 15 hasta dahil edildi. Hastaların 4'ü yoğun bakımda takip edildi, bunlardan biri invaziv mekanik ventilatöre bağlandı. Hastaların 3'ü (%20) gebeydi. Hastaların %66'sında taşipne, %53'ünde dispne, %33'ünde burun akıntısı ve %100'ünde halsizlik şika yeti mevcuttu. Yapılan laboratuvar tetkiklerinde; hastaların %33'ünde hipoksi, %46'sında lökopeni ve trombositopeni, %20'sinde CRP yüksekliği, %46'sında akciğer grafisinde infiltrasyon saptandı. Yoğun bakımda takip edilen hastaların hepsinde lökopeni ve trombositopeni mevcuttu

THE GENERAL FEATURES AND CLINICAL FINDINGS OF PATIENTS WITH PANDEMIC H1N1 INFLUENZA VIRUSE INFECTION

Year 2010, Volume: 24 Issue: 3, 141 - 146, 01.12.2010

Abstract

In the study, it was aimed to evaluate the labaratory, clinical and radiological features of patients who were observed with the pandemic H1N1 influenza viruse infection in our hospital. Between November and December 2009, the patients, who have admitted to emergency, chest disease and infectious disease clinics and were hospitalized for suspect of the pandemic H1N1 Influenza Viruse infection according to the Ministry of Health Services criteria and established positive H1N1 viruse by real-time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction test in pharyngeal swab samples, were included to the study. The laboratory and clinical data of patients was uploaded to SPSS 15 software and statistical analyse was performed. A total of 15 patients, in those 8 men (53.3%) and 7 women (46.7%), have been participated in the study. Four patients were observed in the intensive care unit and one of them was supported by invasive mechanical ventilator. Three patients (20%) were pregnant. 66% of patients had complained with tachypnea, 53% had dyspnea, 33% had nasal secretion, and 100% had fatigue. In the laboratory tests, 33% had hypoxia, 46% had leukopenia and thrombocytopenia, 20% had increased C-reactive protein and 26% of patients had infiltration on the chest roentgenography. All of the patients who were observed in the intensive care unit had leukopenia and thrombocytopenia
