POLAND SENDROMU VE AKCİĞER KANSERİ BİRLİKTELİĞİ: OLGU SUNUMU

Abstract

Poland sendromu, pektoralis major kasının kısmen veya tamamen yokluğu ile karakterize nadir görülen bir sendromdur. Ortalama 30.000 canlı doğumda bir sıklıkta görülmektedir. Aynı aileden tanımlanan olgular olması nedeni ile otozomal dominant geçiş düşünülse bile çoğu olgu sporadiktir. Erkek cinsiyette daha sık görülür. Daha önceki yıllarda kozmetik problemler nedeniyle adölesan ve erişkin dönemde doktor başvuruları görülmekteydi. Bu sendromun artık daha iyi biliniyor olması nedeni ile tanısı çocukluk döneminde konmaktadır. Erişkin dönemde doktor başvurusunun olmaması nedeni ile tanısı geç fark edilen ve akciğer kanserinin eşlik ettiği nadir görülen konjenital bir hastalık olan Poland sendromunu sunmayı uygun bulduk.

POLAND SYNDROME AND LUNG CANCER: A CASE REPORT

Abstract

Poland syndrome is a rare genetic disorder characterized by a partial or total absence of the pectoralis major muscle. It seens per 30.000 birth. Despite its heredity seems like otosomal dominant therefore a few cases have been diagnosed in the same families, generally it seems sporadically. It seems more in male. Recent years adolescent and adult patients have resorted to a physician because of the cosmetic problems. This syndrome can be diagnosed in childhood easily due to known more. We presented a Poland syndrome that is rare congenital disorder accompaying lung which cancer, is recognized late diagnosis due to the lack of application to a doctor in adulthood.
