OBSTRÜKTİF UYKU APNE ŞİDDETİ İLE DERİVED PLATELET-LENFOSİT RATİO ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİ

Year 2016, Volume: 30 Issue: 3, 137 - 141, 01.12.2016

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmada Platelet-lenfosit ratio (PLR)
formülünden revize edilerek hesapladığımız derived
PLR’nin (dPLR)ile Obstrüktif Uyku Apne (OUA) şiddetini
yansıtmadaki olası rolünü araştırmayı amaçladık.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışmaya yeni teşhis almış
104 OUA hastası ve 65 sağlıklı kontrol olgusu
alındı. Demografik veriler çalışma formuna kaydedildi.
Tüm hastalara tüm gece polisomnografi işlemi uygulandı.
Hastaların tam kan sonuçları kaydedildi.
Bulgular: Hastaların yaş ortalaması OUA grubunda
52,4±12,2 yıl idi. OUA grubunda hastaların %65’i
erkek, %35’ü kadın idi. Hasta ve kontrol grupları
arasında yaş, cinsiyet ve sigara içimi açısından
anlamlı fark yoktu (p>0,05). OUA grubunda
ortalama apne-hipopne indeksi 32,5 adet/saat idi.
OUA grubunda ortalama dPLR değeri 83,1±33,9
iken kontrol grubunda 70,0±25,1 olarak saptandı
ve aradaki fark anlamlı olarak daha yüksekti
(p=0.008). Hafif, orta ve ağır OUA grupları arasında
dPLR değerleri sırasıyla 71,6, 86,2 ve 89,9 olarak
saptandı ve aradaki fark anlamlıydı (p<0,05).
Sonuç: dPLR tam kan ölçümüyle kolayca elde
edilebilen, herkesin ulaşabileceği bir hemogram
parametresidir. dPLR oranının OUA hastalığının şiddetini
yansıtmada potansiyel bir rol oynayabileceği
düşünüldü.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DERIVED PLATELET-LYMPHOCYTE RATIO AND SEVERITY OF OBSTRUCTIVE SLEEP APNEA

Year 2016, Volume: 30 Issue: 3, 137 - 141, 01.12.2016

Abstract

Aim: In this study we aimed to investigate relationship derived Platelet - lymphocyte ratio (dPLR) revised from PLR formula and its possible role in reflecting the severity of OSA. Material and Methods: This study enrolled 104 newly diagnosed OSA patients and 65 healthy control subjects. Demographic data was recorded in the study form. All patients underwent overnight polysomnography process. Complete blood test results were recorded. Results: The average age of the patients was 52.4 ± 12.2 years in the OSA group. In the OSA group 65% of patients were male and 35% female. Between the patient and control groups in age, gender and smoking had no significant difference (p> 0.05). Average apnea- hypopnea index was 32.5 units/hour in the OSA group. While average dPLR values in the OSA group was 83.1 ± 33.9, in the control group found to be 70.0 ± 25.1 and the difference was significant (p=0.008). Between mild, moderate and severe OSA groups dPLR values were found to be 71.6, 86.2 and 89.9 respectively and the difference was statistically significant (p
