gerçekçi, pornografik ve alçaltıcı kadın söylemi popüler kültüre özgüdür; yüksek kültür kadın

Abstract
vVestem cultııre has almost consisted of two categories as high culture and popular
culture for two centuries. The studied novels of Woolf and Weldon delineate the women
discourse in the Great Britain in the two cultııral divisions. They reveal and verify that women
discourse in high cultııre and that in popular cultııre are distinctly different. Accordingly,
popular culture exploits women discourse coınmercially, nıdely realistically, pomographically
and pejoratively, whereas high culture glorifies, dignifies, and even idea!izes women
discourse.
