Theories of Organization and Change

Abstract

The purpose of this study is analysis of organizational theories based on literature, in this context; was addressed the viewpoints of organizational theories on environment and change, to guide today’s managers in the direction of literature by considering the need for change against the environmental dynamics of the organization. In this context, firstly the subject of change in organizations was discussed briefly. Then, briefly explained with basic concepts of The Structural Condition Dependency Theory, Resource Based Theory, New Corporate Theory, Transaction Cost Theory, Agency Theory, Organizational Ecology Theory, Organizational Networks Theory and Macro Corporate Perspective from organizational theories. The resistance factors that organizations may face in the process of adaptation to environment changes has seen by examining these theories. As a result of research, nowadays the change cannot be addressed due only an institution, the sources of change of the organizations, power dependences of within and outside the organization, causes of uncertainty, the recognize the dynamics of organizational process will be seen to support more effective organizational change process can be realized. On the other hand, it was also discussed that new hybrid approach to change can be established.

Örgüt Kuramları ve Değişim

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, örgüt kuramlarının literatüre
dayalı olarak incelenmesi, bu kapsamda örgüt kuramlarının çevre ve değişime
bakış açısının ele alınması, literatür doğrultusunda örgütün çevre
dinamiklerine karşı değişim ihtiyacının ele alınarak günümüz yöneticilerine yol
göstermesidir. Bu bağlamda, öncelikle örgütlerde değişim konusu kısaca ele
alınmıştır. Daha sonra örgüt kuramlarından Yapısal Koşul Bağımlılık Kuramı,
Kaynak Bağımlılığı Kuramı, Yeni Kurumsal Kuram, İşlem Maliyeti Kuramı, Vekâlet
Kuramı, Örgütsel Ekoloji Kuramı, Örgütsel Ağlar Kuramı ve Makrokurumsal Bakış
Açısı temel kavramları ile kısaca açıklanmış ve bu kuramların çevresel değişime
bakış açıları incelenmiştir. Bu kuramların incelenmesi ile örgütlerin çevresel
değişimlere adaptasyon sürecinde karşılaşabilecekleri direnç faktörleri
görülmüştür. Araştırma sonucu olarak, günümüzde tek bir kurama bağlı olarak
değişimin ele alınamayacağı, örgütlerin değişimin kaynaklarını, örgüt içi ve
örgüt dışı güç bağımlılıklarını, belirsizlik nedenlerini, örgütsel süreç
dinamiklerini iyi tanımalarının daha etkili örgütsel değişim sürecinin
gerçekleştirilebileceğine destek olabileceği görülecektir. Diğer yandan, değişime
yönelik yeni hibrit bir yaklaşım oluşturulabileceği de tartışılmıştır.
