Prof. Dr. Nusret Özbay is a Professor of Horticulture at Faculty of Agriculture, Bingöl University, Turkey. He completed his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Horticulture at Colorado State University in the United States. His research focuses on vegetable production, seed physiology, seed priming, seedling height control, stress tolerance, microbial fertilizers, and soilless cultivation systems. He has authored numerous scientific publications and currently serves as the Director of the Vocational School of Food, Agriculture and Livestock at Bingöl University. Prof. Özbay is recognized for his contributions to sustainable agriculture and advanced plant production technologies. Dr. Erhan Sulejmani
Assistant Professor, Faculty of Food Technology and Nutrition, University of Tetova, North Macedonia
Dr. Erhan Sulejmani earned his Doctorate in Technical Sciences in Food Technology from the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. His doctoral research, supported by an international TUBITAK-funded project, was conducted at the Department of Food Engineering, İnönü University in Malatya, Turkey, and focused on biochemical and chemical changes during the ripening of hard cheeses.
He holds a Master of Agricultural Sciences in Dairy Technology, also from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, where he investigated the quality of white brined cheese under varying processing conditions. He completed his undergraduate studies in Veterinary Medicine in 2005.
Since 2006, Dr. Sulejmani has been active in academia, teaching and researching in the fields of dairy and meat processing technologies, food chemistry, and food hygiene. He was appointed Assistant Professor (Docent) in 2016 at the University of Tetova. He has participated in numerous national and international projects and is fluent in English.
His research interests include traditional and functional dairy products, cheese biochemistry, food quality and safety, and innovative food processing methods.
Dr. Imran Mahmood is an Assistant Professor of Agronomy at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He hold a Ph.D. in Agriculture (Agronomy) and specializes in crop stress physiology, nutrient management, and agricultural nanotechnology. With over 18 years of academic and research experience, he has authored more than 35 peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals and has supervised numerous postgraduate students. He is actively involved in applied research projects and has participated in several international training programs in South Korea and China.
Eren ÖZDEN was born in 1987 and completed his undergraduate education at Harran University's Faculty of Agriculture in 2010. He pursued an integrated PhD in the Department of Horticulture at Ankara University's Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences between 2012 and 2018. From 2010 to 2012, he worked as a research assistant at Iğdır University's Faculty of Agriculture and served at Ankara University's Faculty of Agriculture from 2012 to 2018. In January 2018, he started working as a Dr. Research Assistant at Iğdır University's Faculty of Agriculture, and since May 2018, he has been serving as a Dr. Lecturer at Iğdır University, Iğdır Technical Sciences Vocational School, Department of Plant and Animal Production. As of January 27, 2023, he has been awarded the title of Associate Professor. He chaired the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Processing Technologies at Iğdır University's Iğdır Technical Sciences Vocational School in 2019. He also chaired the Department of Organic Farming Management at Iğdır University's Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences in 2019. Between 2019 and 2022, he served as the Director of the Agricultural Practice and Research Center at Iğdır University. From 2019 to 2023, he chaired the Department of Plant and Animal Production at Iğdır University's Iğdır Technical Sciences Vocational School. His expertise lies in seed and seedling physiology, focusing on seed and seedling technology, cultivation, and production of vegetables and ornamental plants. Between 2018 and 2022, he taught six different graduate courses, five different undergraduate courses, and four different associate degree courses. He has 28 published international articles, 21 of which are within the scope of SCI-Expanded, two international book editorships, five international book chapters, and 15 published national articles. He has presented 18 international papers and 11 national papers at scientific congresses and symposiums, including those attended abroad. His project experience includes involvement in 17 projects, five of which were funded by TUBITAK and eight from various other sources, with three as the project leader. He received the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) Honor Award in 2010, the Harran University Faculty of Agriculture Degree Award in 2010, and the Horticulture and Forestry Society From Transylvania Honorary Member award in 2017, totaling three international and national awards. Under his supervision, seven master's theses have been completed. His works have been cited over 300 times. He has participated in over 20 trainings, courses, and meetings. In 2019, he served as a member of the Organizing Committee and the Scientific Board for the "1st International Aromatic Plants and Cosmetics Symposium (AROPCOS)" held in Iğdır. In 2021, he chaired the organizing committee of the "7th National Seed Congress with International Participation" organized by Iğdır University. Eren Özden has been working as an Associate Professor at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University since September 2023
Umida Isashova is a researcher specializing in plant protection and entomology. Her work focuses on the bioecology, distribution, and control methods of pests such as leaf miner flies (Liriomyza spp.), tomato moth (Tuta absoluta), and other harmful species. She conducts research on biological control, the analysis of entomophagous species, and the use of microbiological preparations. Her studies have been published in international journals such as Indonesian Journal of Innovation Studies, Solid State Technology, Design Engineering, and NeuroQuantology.
