Abstract
Sosyalizmin çökmesi ve kapitalizmin sürekli sorun üreterek krizlere sebebiyet vermesi nedeniyle İslam ekonomik sisteminin bir alternatif sistem olup olmayacağı son yıllarda gündemi meşgul etmektedir. İslam ekonomisinin taşıdığı özellikler itibariyle hangi ekonomik sisteme daha yakın olduğu ise tartışma konusudur. İslam ekonomisinin taşıdığı özellikler incelendiğinde serbest piyasa ekonomisi ile benzeştiği ise bilinen bir gerçektir. Bu çalışmada İslam ekonomisi ile serbest piyasa ekonomisi çeşitli özelliklerine göre incelenmiş olup aralarındaki benzerlik ve farklılıklar ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır.
