Eğitim Alanında Otantik Liderlik Konulu Çalışmaların Görsel Haritalama Tekniğine Göre Bibliyometrik Analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, eğitimde otantik liderlik konusunun akademik alan yazında nasıl ele alındığını düzenli ve sistematik olarak incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada bibliyometrik analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu amaçla 05.04.2025 tarihinde “authenticleadership” anahtar kelimesiyle Web of Science’da “topic” seçilerek yapılan aramada eğitim alanında 173 makaleye ulaşılmıştır. Yıllara göre en eski 2005 yılı ve en yeni 2025 yılı olmak üzere eğitim alanında 173 makale tam kayıt ve atıfta bulunan referanslar seçilerek Web of Science’dan aktarılmıştır. Ardından elde edilen veriler VOSviewer yazılım programı kullanılarak atıflara, yazarlara, ülkelere ve anahtar kelimelere ilişkin çözümlemeler yapılarak görselleştirilmiştir. Bu tür bir analiz, otantik liderlik kavramının eğitim bağlamında nasıl kullanıldığını, hangi anahtar konuların öne çıktığını, hangi araştırmacıların bu alanda etkili olduğunu ve hangi ülkelerde yoğun bir akademik ilgi bulunduğunu görsel olarak haritalandırmaktadır. Yayınların ülkelere göre dağılımı konusunda liderliğin ABD (53 yayın), İngiltere (16 yayın) Avustralya (14 yayın) menşeli yayıncılarda olduğu; ESCI (82), SSCI (71), BKCI-SSH(18) ve SCI-EXPANDED (9) endekslerde taranan yayınların ağırlıkta olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Otantik Liderlik ile ilgili makalelerde en sık kullanılan anahtar sözcüklere bakıldığında 49 tekrar ile Authentic leadership (otantik liderlik), 22 tekrar ile leadershp(liderlik), 11 tekrar ile leadership devolopment(liderlik geliştirme) ifadeleri olduğu belirlenmiştir. En fazla atıf alan yazarların 155 atıf ile Mary Crossan, 155 atıf ile Gerard Seijts ,125 atıf ile Orly Shapira-Lishchinsky ;. en çok eser üreten yazarların ise sırasıyla Orly Shapira Lishchinsky, Catherine Lee, Sgalit Tsemach olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca educational management administration&leadership dergisi en çok atıf yapılan ve en fazla yayın yapan(16 makale) dergi olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Bibliometric Mapping of Research on Authentic Leadership in Education: A Visual Analysis

Abstract

This study presents a bibliometric analysis of authentic leadership research in education using visual mapping techniques, aiming to deepen understanding of the literature and identify emerging trends. The analysis illustrates how authentic leadership is conceptualized in educational contexts, highlights key themes, identifies influential scholars, and reveals countries with strong academic engagement. Its purpose is to expose gaps, underline prominent works, and suggest new research directions. A systematic search was conducted in the Web of Science database on April 5, 2025, using the keyword “authentic leadership” with the “topic” filter. The search yielded 173 publications in education between 2005 and 2025. Full records and cited references were exported and analyzed with VOSviewer software to generate author, citation, country, and keyword maps. The findings show that the United States (53 publications), the United Kingdom (16), and Australia (14) dominate output. Most studies were indexed in ESCI (82), SSCI (71), BKCI-SSH (18), and SCI-EXPANDED (9). Frequently used keywords were authentic leadership (49 occurrences), leadership (22), and leadership development (11). The most cited authors were Mary Crossan (155 citations), Gerard Seijts (155), and Orly Shapira-Lishchinsky (125). Leading contributors included Orly Shapira-Lishchinsky, Catherine Lee, and Sgalit Tsemach. The journal Educational Management Administration & Leadership was identified as both the most prolific and most cited outlet, with 16 publications. This study provides the first bibliometric mapping of authentic leadership in education, offering insights into its historical development and informing future interdisciplinary research.
