KLİNİK LİDERLİK VE SAĞLIK KURUMLARINA YANSIMALARI

Year 2021, Volume: 4 Issue: 1, 40 - 50, 16.04.2021

Abstract

Clinical Leadership And Reflections To Health Institutions

Year 2021, Volume: 4 Issue: 1, 40 - 50, 16.04.2021

Abstract

Clinical leader in health care management is a professional who, despite complex health system processes and challenges such as the numerically inadequate health workforce, manages personal and interpersonal capabilities to ensure the effective execution of clinical care. The clinical leader is expected to be healthcare focused and have an advanced personal awareness. It is also expected to be able to self-manage and maintain personal development, to have developed communication and planning skills, to support innovation, to be open to change, to improve patient and employee safety, and to be encouraging. In order for clinical leadership to be implemented effectively in health institutions, a serious organizational structure that prioritizes this issue and the support of senior management is needed. The aim of the study is to provide information about clinical leadership, its characteristics, development and implications for health management. It is anticipated that the study will serve as a resource for healthcare professionals, planners and health administrators in recognizing and using clinical leadership qualities. Besides, it is thought that this study will shed light on future researches.
