The characteristic features of societies in the world constitute their values and cultural characteristics. In addition to knowledge and skills, transferring the qualities of society to individuals and giving them an identity are among the main goals of education. At the same time, the transfer of values contributes to the individual's adaptation to the society he lives in and to the process of living together. The aim of this study is to categorize the values that are important to be taught/acquired/developed in the process of religious education. Considering the inadequacy of studies in the field of religious education within the framework of teaching principles and methods, specifically the curriculum, it is thought that this research will make a significant contribution to the literature. The data was obtained using qualitative research methods, and descriptive analysis and content analysis were used to evaluate the data. As a result, based on the information obtained, the research is based on the Religious Culture and Ethics Course Curriculum and asks "What are the values that should be taught in Religious Education?" How should these values be categorized pedagogically? What should be taken into consideration when teaching values in the education process? It was structured under the headings and the findings were interpreted.
