Abstract

Çalışma üç ana bölümden oluşur: Ayrıntılı bir giriş, belgelerin açıklamalı yayımı, ekler. Giriş dörde ayrılır: Konuyla ilgili genel bir giriş, araştırma tarihi, malzemeler üzerine yapılan çalışmaların tarihi, malzemelerin tavsifi, belgelerin eleştirel yayımı. Araştırma tarihine değinilirken (1.2. Reseach history of the material) 12. Dipnotta (s. 19) yer verilen bilgi kronoloji açısından tam doğru olamaz: “After Arat passed away the collection was passed to his pupil Osman Fikri Sertkaya …”. R. R. Arat’ın ölümü 29.11.1964’tür (→ Arat İçin, s. IX), O. F. Sertkaya’nın üniversiteye başlaması ise 1964 yılıdır (başlangıcı Eylül ile Kasım arasındaki bir tarih olmalıdır; → Yalım Kaya Bitigi, s. 1). Dolayısıyla O. F. Sertkaya’nın R. R. Arat’ın doğrudan öğrencisi olması ve belgeleri kendisine bırakması kronolojik açıdan mümkün görünmüyor.
