Abstract

Abstract: Opening new study programs comes along with a wide set of challenges, some of which have to do with creating an organizational culture that will be result-oriented. Even so, there are multiple challenges that new programs face in their early years, some of which have to do with a general uncertainty when it comes to human resources, high turnover rates among professors, limited opportunities for more students when it comes to internship programs and mobilities, and the lack of credibility that their diploma might face on the job market. The current study aims at highlighting the main factors that can contribute to the emergence of a result-oriented organizational culture within departments that administer study programs that are on the path towards accreditation. The paper will outline the numerous ways in which organizational culture can be involved, shaped by both program managers and professors.
