A Study of Hydrogen Production in Stand-alone Wind Farm

Abstract

Hydrogen production using wind power generation system is very effective for solving the energy supply problem in the future. Many strategies have been proposed for the operation of a grid-connected wind farm. But operation method of stand-alone wind farm has not been studied sufficiently so far. There are many places with good wind condition but without connectable grid, where stand-alone wind farm can be very attractive. This paper proposes a control method for the operation of a stand-alone wind farm with a hydrogen generator.
