EXHIBITING THE TRANSITIONAL OBJECTS OF TURKS IN GERMANY IN THE CONTEXT OF LIMINALITY AND COMMUNITAS

Year 2020, Volume: 4 Issue: 3, 161 - 180, 31.12.2020

Abstract

Migration has been one of the primary research fields of social sciences to date. Today, with the interdependence of disciplines, migration research has ceased to be a research field specific to the social sciences and has started to operate in dif-ferent disciplines such as art and design. In the field of art and design, museums and exhibition design are the areas where migration has the most place. The re-search examines of Turkish immigrants in Germany and the exhibit of transition objects under the concepts of liminality and communitas. Turkey-Germany mi-gration, Liminality and Communitas, transition objects and migration exhibitions constitute the intermediate title of the research.
