Writing Rules

1) It publishes only articles, book reviews and symposium evaluations on religious studies (Social and Human Sciences/Religion) in the Journal of Theology Academy . Submitted articles should be in accordance with the purpose and scope of the journal.
2) The writing language of the Journal of Theology Academy is Turkish. However, articles written in English and Arabic can be included in each issue, not exceeding one third of the journal. Arabic articles must also include Turkish and English titles and abstracts, and a bibliography using the Latin Alphabet.
3) The volume of the article is recommended to be between 4,000 and 9,000 words.
4) In order for the articles in the translation type to be processed, it is required to have a certain number of (at least 5) citations in the original language of the article.
5) The articles sent for publication are subjected to pre-control, plagiarism screening, referee evaluation and Turkish-English language control stages. The work, which does not pass this process even though it has been examined three times during the Pre-Check stage, is returned to the author and is not processed again in the same publication period.

6) Original, unpublished articles that are not in the process of evaluation in another journal and whose content and submission are approved by each author are accepted for evaluation.
7) Studies should be prepared in accordance with the writing rules of the journal.
8) Articles should be submitted electronically to the journal website from the "Submit Article" tab.
9) All documents and files must be submitted as Word documents (. doc or . docx ).
10) On the first page of the articles sent to the journal, the author's name and institution information should be written in accordance with the ISNAD Citation System. See. https://www.isnadsistemi.org/en/guide/isnad2-2/academic-writing/3-author-name-and-institution-information/
11) Articles that do not use the ISNAD Citation System are returned to the author for correction.
12) All expenses of the journal are covered by the Publisher. The publication of articles and the execution of article processes in the journal are free of charge. No processing fee or submission fee is charged for articles submitted to the journal or accepted for publication .
13) After the article is sent to the Journal for publication, the names of any of the authors cannot be deleted from the list of authors without the written consent of all authors, a new name cannot be added as an author, and the order of authors cannot be changed.
14) For book critics, the article should be maximum 1500 words, Turkish and English abstracts of 50-100 words should be included, and there should be at least one work in the bibliography.
15) At the end of the article, before the bibliography, the researchers' contribution rate statement, if any, support and acknowledgment statements should be stated in the conflict statement in accordance with the table below.
16) Ethics Committee approval should be obtained for articles that require Ethics Committee approval, and this approval (committee name, date and number) should be stated on the first page of the article and in the method section. • One line space should be left between each heading and the previous text. There must be at least five Keywords and each word must begin with a capital letter.
• For Arabic texts, the above format conditions are valid and only Traditional The main text should be written in 12 points, the abstract and footnotes should be written in 10 fonts in Arabic font.
• Authors are required to include their Institution, Faculty, Country City, E-Mail, ROR IDI, ORCID information in the files they send.
