CILECT CONGRESS – Artificial Intelligence and Film Education
Abstract
The International Association of Film and Television Schools (CILECT) is an organization with 186 film and television schools from 64 countries as members. This organization annually facilitates general congresses, hosted by academic institutions in diverse international locations, within the framework of evolving themes. This review aims to share the events at the CILECT congress held in China in October 2024. A range of activities, designed to explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and film education under this year's theme, are intended to provide researchers and educators in the field, alongside practitioners in the creative sectors, with a platform for understanding varied international perspectives and experiences.
