A Survey on Comparative Analysis of ESG Performance: FinTech vs. Traditional Financial Institutions

Abstract

The convergence of financial technology (fintech), traditional finance and sustainable finance represents an important development in the pursuit of responsible and ethical financial systems. This review paper examines the current landscape of fintech and non-fintech applications within the realm of sustainable finance, particularly focusing on the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria. Based on a comprehensive analysis of scholarly articles, industry reports, and regulatory frameworks, the study synthesizes key trends, challenges, and opportunities in these domains.
