Erhan Pulat is a Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Bursa Uludag University of Turkey. He holds a B.Sc. degree from Middle East Technical University, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Uludag University in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of the Uludag University Journal of the Faculty of Engineering. His research interests include thermodynamics, heat transfer, computational thermal fluid engineering, electronics cooling, drying technology, and HVAC&R. He is married and has two daughters.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Taha Çağrı Şenocak obtained his bachelor's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Fırat University in 2010. He then pursued his master's and doctoral studies at Atatürk University, completing his master's in 2015 and his Ph.D. in 2020. He conducted his postdoctoral research on tissue engineering at Silesian University of Technology in 2022. He is a Assoc. Prof. at Atatürk University's Faculty of Engineering, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. His areas of research include biomaterials, surface coating technologies, material characterization and tissue engineering. 

Duygu KURU, Gazi Üniversitesi’nden, 2011 Yılında Kimya Mühendisliği Lisans, 2014 Yılında Ankara Üniversitesi Kimya Mühendisliği Anabilim Dalı Yüksek Lisans ve 2021 Yılında Bilecik Şeyh Edebali Üniversitesi-Anadolu Üniversitesi Ortak protokol Kimya Mühendisliği Anabilim Dalında Doktora dereceleri elde etmiştir. 2013 Yılında Bilecik Şeyh Edebali Üniversitesi Kimya Mühendisliği Bölümüne Arş. Gör. olarak ve 2022 Yılında doktor öğretim üyesi olarak atanmıştır. 2011-2013 Yılları arasında Ankara Üniversitesi Süperiletken Teknolojileri Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi’nde proje destek uzmanı olarak görev almıştır. Araştırma konuları; Kompozit malzemeler, atık malzemelerin kompozit malzemelerde kullanımı, ince film kaplama, 2 boyutlu malzeme sentezi, nanomalzeme sentezi ve karakterizasyonu, bor nitrür, bor uç ürünleri ve teknolojileri, atık su arıtımı, 3 boyutlu sorbent üretimi. Bu konularda 13 tanesi SCI indeksli olmak üzere toplam 21 tane araştırma makalesi ve 27 bildirisi bulunmaktadır, 1002 ve 1505 Tübitak projelerinde yürütücülüğü, 7 adet BAP projesinde araştırmacı görevi olmuştur.

He was born in 1955 in Istanbul / Turkey. He graduated from Istanbul Technical University (ITU) with M.Sc. Degree in Chemical Engineering and completed an MBA program at Istanbul University(I.U.). His field of Masters's and Ph.D. (postgraduate) studies were Renewable Energy, Coal Combustion, Coal Liquefaction, and Gasification. After his promotion, he got a scholarship from the University of Leeds in England and was employed by Henkel Inc. Co., in Germany, worked in Italy for Enichem Inc. Co. as well at Pak Gıda Inc. Co in Turkey, where he worked as a researcher, manager, and consultant. He is an active consultant in the fields of renewable energy, coal technologies, combustion, gasification, thermal energy, biogas, environment, and solid waste recycling technologies and constructing energy plants for 35 years. He has 80 scientific publications and international scientific awards.

Dr. Mustafa Tolay provided engineering consultancy in different countries and attended many projects for the construction of various energy and environmental plants, especially for the Waste To Energy and Biomass sectors. From 2006 to 2008, he was the Technical Coordinator and Board Member of the DETES Energy and Environment Technology Systems Co. Ltd. And also since 2011 he is Owner and Technical Coordinator for TOLAY Energy, and since 2021 he is director of Avva Global RDF Trading Ltd. He was a representative of a Spanish energy company, VERCO SL and he was a representative of EQTEC Iberia Co. and EQTECPLC Co. Meanwhile, he is giving lectures and cooperating with investigations at diverse universities and research centers. With his newly developed projects in biogas, combustion, gasification, energy, and environment subjects, he took out many international patents and licenses.

He was a team member of the Turkish Licensor of BGL (British Gas Lurgi) through signing the Licence Agreement with the Envirotherm GmbH from Germany on the 15th of May 2008, starting the project for construction and installation of a methanol production plant (120.000 t/a) and 75 MWel electricity production with the BGL Gasification System after signing an agreement in Turkey. His companies had technical licenses of Envirotherm GmbH and A.E.V. Energy GmbH. He was also a team leader as a consultant on projects of UNIDO and UNDP on renewable energy. He prepared lecture notes for "Bioenergy Engineering". In the book titled "Thermal Power Plants," he prepared a section on "Biomass Energy Production". Besides Energy Management Expert, Dr. Mustafa Tolay was also an active member of many different nongovernmental organizations and social unions such as the Institute of Energy and Chromatography Society in the UK and American Chemical Society, American Institute of Energy in the USA. He is a member of the Bioenergy Association of Turkey (part of the World Bioenergy Association).

He has published some scientific e-books on Bioenergy Production. He is the author of "Art and Thought with Dante", "Art and Thought with Leonardo" and "Dante Celato". He is a founding member of the Philosophy, Art, Culture, and Science Association. He is a founding member of the board of the "Associazione Internazionale Le Vie di Leonardo da Vinci" Foundation, headquartered in Vinci-Italy. The EPA Governing Board decided to award
the certification “Cultural Route of the Council of Europe” to the “European Leonardo Da Vinci Ways” for a term of five years, in accordance with the criteria for certification contained in Resolution CM/Res (2023)2 of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. The decision was confirmed by the EPA Governing Board by written procedure on 27 June 2024. Dr. Mustafa Tolay is also a citizen of Romania and has a long-term residence permit in Italy. He is married and has a daughter.
