Abstract

First paragraph: The current work is a PhD thesis on Zayd b. ʿAlī (d. 122/740), leader of the Zaydiyya sect and the attributed author of al-Majmūʿ al-fiqhī. It is composed of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, and a rich bibliography.
