Abstract

In this article, academic educational structure of labour economics and industrial Relations in United States of America (USA) is evaluated shortly. In particular, the variety of the scientific areas which constitute labour economics and industrial relations as a multi-disciplined subject is emphasized and the relationship between personnel/human resource management and economics/industrial relations is argued. In this context, beside conceptual change in industrial relations and multi-disciplined interaction, the structure and programs of the departments which give the industrial relations education according to the dependent or independent model are evaluated.

Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nde Çalışma Ekonomisi ve Endüstri İlişkileri Eğitimi Üzerine

Abstract

Makale, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri (ABD)’nde çalışma ekonomisi ve endüstri ilişkileri eğitimi üzerine kısa bir değerlendirmeyi içermektedir. Özellikle çok disiplinli bir alan özelliği gösteren çalışma ekonomisi ve endüstri ilişkilerini oluşturan bilim alanlarının çeşitliliği ön plana çıkarılmakta ve personel/insan kaynakları yönetimi ile iktisat/endüstri ilişkileri bilim dalları arasındaki ilişki tartışılmaktadır. Bu bağlamda endüstri ilişkilerinde yaşanan kavramsal değişim ve disiplinlerarası etkileşim değerlendirilmekte, bağımlı-bağımsız ikili model yapılanması içerisinde endüstri ilişkileri eğitimi veren birimlerin yapılanmaları ve programları değerlendirilmektedir
