Teknolojik İlerleme Yoluyla Durgunluktan İstikrarlı Ekonomik Büyümeye: 2025 Nobel Ekonomi Ödülü Üzerine Bir Değerlendirme

Abstract

2025 yılı Nobel Ekonomi Ödülü; Joel Mokyr, Philippe Aghion ve Peter Howitt’e, inovasyon odaklı ekonomik büyümeyi açıkladıkları gerekçesiyle verilmiştir. Bu çalışma, söz konusu isimlerin ödüle layık görülmelerinde etkili olan temel bilimsel katkılarının kapsamlı bir değerlendirmesini sunmaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışma, insanlık tarihinin yalnızca son iki yüz yıllık döneminde gözlemlenen istikrarlı ekonomik büyümenin ardındaki temel dinamikleri, yazarların hangi perspektiflerle ele aldıkları üzerinde durmaktadır.

From Stagnation to Sustainable Economic Growth Through Technological Progress: An Assessment of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences

Abstract

The 2025 Nobel Prize in Economics was awarded to Joel Mokyr, Philippe Aghion, and Peter Howitt for their clarification of innovation-driven economic growth. This study assesses the fundamental scientific contributions that led to these individuals obtaining the award. This article analyses the fundamental factors driving the sustained economic growth witnessed over the previous two centuries of human history, together with the perspectives of the writers in their examination.
