Abstract

Unconditional
self-acceptance (USA) can be defined, as the complete and unconditional
acceptance of an individual without regarding whether the individual behaves in
a clever, correct and competent manner and whether or not others approve it. It
is one of the qualities of psychological counselors. The USA includes the
acceptance of others without criticism and without prejudice. Therefore, it was
aimed to determine the USA levels of psychological counselor candidates in this
study. It was also aimed to determine whether the scores differed according to
gender, class level and perceived family attitude variables. The sample of the
study consisted of 183 university students. The research was conducted
according to the general screening model; t-test, ANOVA and Tukey's B test were
used together with descriptive analyzes. It was observed that the USA levels of
the participants were intermediate. The obtained scores differed according to
class level.

Psikolojik Danışman Adaylarının Koşulsuz Kendini Kabul Düzeyleri

Year 2018, Volume: 7 Issue: 4, 2438 - 2453, 30.12.2018
