Bir Prososyal Davranış Kaynağı Olarak Özgeci Motivasyonun İlgili Alan Yazını Işığında Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, farklı disiplin alanlarının
konularından biri olan prososyal davranışlar ve bu davranışların kaynağı olarak
özgeci motivasyon kavramı değerlendirilmektedir. Bu amaçla, bir kişinin kendi
çıkarına dayanmayan bir motivasyona sahip olup olmadığı, başkalarının iyiliği
için böyle bir motivasyona sahip olmak mümkünse bile insanların özgeci davranıp
davranmayacakları ve eğer varsa bunların iç kaynaklarının ne olduğuna dair
sorulara yanıt aranmıştır. Çözümlemelerde, öncelikle yardım etme davranışlarının
ve özgecilik kavramının açıklanmasında literatürdeki kavramsallaştırılma
süreçleri içinde nasıl oluştuğuna ilişkin olarak Platon ve Kant’tan başlayarak
konunun önemli araştırmacılarının görüşleri ortaya konmuştur. Değerlendirme,
özgeci motivasyonun diğer formları dahil edilmek suretiyle
gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, özgeci motivasyonu harekete geçiren önemli
unsurların olduğu ve en önemli unsurun empatik kaygı olduğu görülmekte, ayrıca
özgecilik kavramının gelişim ve eğitim paradigmaları içinde yer almasının önemi
ve yardımsever olmanın öğretilebileceği anlaşılmaktadır. Makalede son olarak
probleme ilişkin perspektif ve öneriler sıralanmıştır.

Evaluation of Altruist Motivation, A Source of Prosocial Attitude, in the Light of Literature Concerned

Abstract

This study has intended to evaluate the
pro-social attitudes, one of the subjects of different disciplinary fields, and
the concept of altruist motivation as the source of these attitudes. For this
purpose, answers have been sought for to the questions of whether one has a
motivation not depending on his/her own benefit, whether they will behave
selflessly even if it is possible to have such a motivation for the good of
others and what are their inner sources, if any. In the analyses, the views of
the important research from Plato and Kant regarding the way the attitudes of
helping and how the concept of altruism have emerged in the conceptualization
processes in literature have been given. The evaluation has been conducted by
including the altruist motivation as well as its other forms.

As a result, it is seen that there are
important points that trigger the altruist motivation and the most important
point is emphatic concern; also, it is understood that the importance of the
fact that the concept of altruism should take place in development and
education paradigms and that one should be benevolent can be taught. Lastly,
perspectives and recommendations on the problem have been listed.
