Abstract

Soru sorma, öğrencilere nasıl düşünüleceğini öğreten, öğretmenin
hizmetindeki en güçlü araçtır. Öğretmenler her gün kitap bilgilerinin
hatırlanmasına yarayan yüzlerce soru sorarlar; bu soruların çok azı
öğrencilerin hatırlamalarının Ötesine geçen, onları düşünmeye sevk eden
niteliktedir. Bazı sorular sınıf uygulamasının açıklanmasına yöneliktir. Bu
sürece sadece öğretmenler soru sorarak değil, öğrenciler de verdikleri
cevaplarla dâhil olurlar. Bu makalede yapılandırma, seviyeyi ayarlama,
fikirleri açık ve net olarak ortaya koyabilme, yönlendirme ve hız ayarlama,
fikir öne sürme ve kanıtlama, cevapları dinleme ve cevap verme ve
sıralama gibi etkin soru sorma yöntemleri irdelenmektedir. Bu tekniklerin
yanı sıra, makalede diğer başka etkin soru sorma yöntemleri de
tartışılmaktadır.
