The following study entitled ‘The process of Aesthetic Experience in The
Eagle’s Throne’ aims to analyze the process of aesthetic experience in the
novel of the most prominent narrator of the modern Mexican literature,
Carlos Fuentes, focusing mainly on the principal characters of the narrative.
The study comprises four parts: the first part aims to give brief
information on Carlos Fuentes attempting mainly to explain the relation
between his political formation and literary work; the second one provides
the reader with information over reader oriented theories; the third one
makes a summary of the theme and studies the structure of the text and
the time of narration introducing the main characters; the fourth part
focuses on providing information on the process of aesthetic experience
and analyzing the principal characters throughout the stated process.
