CANDİDA KEFYR İLE OLUŞAN PNÖMONİ

Abstract

Normal insan florasında bulunan Candida türleri, immunsüpresyon gelişmesi halinde infeksiyona neden olabilir. Candida infeksiyonları sıklıkla albikans suşlarıyla gözlenmekle beraber, son zamanlarda albikans dışı suşlar ile olan infeksiyonların sıklığı artmıştır. Albikans dışı suşlar ile oluşan infeksiyonlar, özellikle yoğun bakım ünitelerinde yatan hastalarda, üriner sistem infeksiyonundan sepsise kadar değişen klinik bulgular ile karşımıza çıkabilir. Bunlardan biri olan Candida Kefyr nadiren saptanabilen fungal bir patojendir. Bu olgu sunumunda, myelodisplastik sendrom zemininde gelişen ve etyolojisinde Candida Kefyr’in saptandığı pnömoni olgusu sunuldu. Ampirik olarak başlanan kaspofungin tedavisine klinik yanıt alındı.
